Fred Wollman began is financial planning career in 1980. He earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) credential in 1984, Master Planner Advanced Studies (MPAS®) designation in 2015 and the Accredited Investment Fiduciary designation (AIF®) in 2018. He currently holds securities registrations 7, 63, and 24. With an ongoing dedication to continuing financial education, Fred taught the CFP® classes to aspiring financial professionals at San Diego State University from 1987 to 1990.
In 2018, Fred published a book, “Rewrite Your Financial Narrative,” about setting financial priorities and aligning the financial story you keep telling yourself with your financial reality.
When he’s not in the office, Fred believes in giving back to his community. He serves on the board of the Valley Center Trails Association and ECOLife Conservation and volunteers time for Kiwanis projects and the Forest Fire Lookout Association.
Fred and his wife of thirty-nine years, Kathy, live in Valley Center, CA with a cat, a dog and two horses. Fred spends his down time relaxing with yoga, tai chi and riding horses. When he can really get away, Fred enjoys backpacking with Kathy, the kids and grandkids.
Since joining our firm in 2014, JC has worked with our clients in helping them gain access to their accounts, complete service requests, keep the lines of communication open and whatever else our team and our clients may need. Before joining our team, JC spent 10 years working in the retail and management space with outdoor equipment and clothing retailer REI.
JC is a graduate of UC Davis and is working toward earning her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation in 2020. She is currently securities and insurance licensed.
Sharon has worked alongside our founder, Fred, for the past 15+ years. In this role, she offers assistance in managing Fred’s personal and the business’s cash flow and handles the accounting and payroll needs of the team.
Prior to working with Fred, Sharon served in a similar role for the owner of Hansen Real Estate in Escondido.
