Where Do You Want to Be
How We Can Get You There

A GOAL WITHOUT A PLAN IS JUST A WISH

Getting Started with Wollman Wealth Designs

Selecting the right advisor for you and your family shouldn’t feel like a leap of faith - it needs to be a decision you make comfortably and confidently. That’s why we take our time in explaining who we are, what we believe in and how we can bring value to your financial life. In return, we need you to paint a picture of your current financial standings and goals for the future.

Clients often hire us and pay a fee to write a comprehensive financial plan. We act as the family’s “Chief Financial Officer.” The purpose of the financial plan is to determine if the client’s financial reality is aligned with the financial narrative that is playing in their head. Our mission is to offer options and alternatives to work towards your financial goals.

Many clients also hire us to manage the details of their investments. It is critically important that investments be tailored to your financial plan and goals.  The investment selections are driven by the plan and not by current events. This is also done for a fee based upon the amount of assets supervised.

Here's How To Get Started:

Step 1

Give Us a Call

Schedule a twenty-minute call. You can ask your questions about what we do and how we do it. We can learn more about you and your situation to determine if we would be a match for your needs. After the call, you can decide if you want to move forward with a longer, in-the-office meeting.

Step 2

Meet in Person

If you are local, we encourage you to come to our office for a face-to face exploratory meeting. If you aren’t local, this meeting can be held either on the phone or via video conferencing. You can tell us about your financial priorities, goals, concerns and family dynamics. You may want to bring along relevant financial documents (tax returns, investment statements, loans, etc). We will provide you with details and disclosures of exactly what we do and how we are paid. This meeting allows both parties to obtain information prior to making a commitment.

Step 2A

Drafting a Plan

Assuming you have asked us to work with you, our team will get to work analyzing all the financial data you have provided and begin to draft your financial plan based upon your unique needs, goals, and objectives.

Step 3

Plan Presentation

During our next meeting, we will present the analysis of your financial data and offer strategies and solutions. This presentation is a working meeting where we ask you for feedback.

Step 3A

Think On It

We realize the initial plan presentation contains a lot of information that may be new to you. The purpose of this meeting is to review your financial plan, answer your questions, revisit your data and refine your goals. This part of the process will take as long as you need it to take.

Step 4

Take Action

If you are comfortable with your financial plan it is time to begin the implementation process. We will outline action items for each of us to do and set a time line for completion. If you want us to manage the investments, we will begin the onboarding process.

Step 5

Monitor & Review

We will regularly revisit and review both your financial plan and the investments. We measure progress toward your goals, discuss changes in your priorities, monitor your investments and discuss options and alternatives.
